If we want to protect, manage, enrich or restore biodiversity, we need to have basic information about the existing biodiversity of the reserve. The main objective of this project is to study the biological and ecological diversity of El Edén through comprehensive biological inventory of the vascular plants, vertebrates, fungi and myxomicetes of the different ecosystems in the region, and a complete inventory of selected taxa in permanent plots. The long term goal is to complete a total inventory of all taxa in the permanent plots.
